Gault&Millau's review
The brand, founded in 1913 in Avize by Georges Frédéric Duntze, is now based in Reims. After lying dormant for some time, it rose from the ashes thanks to Victor Duntze, oenologist and heir to the family, who decided to relaunch it in 2012 on the occasion of its centenary. In an almost Burgundian philosophy, the house presents its cuvées by major terroirs, through the "Légende" and "Terroir" ranges, which are made up of single-varietal cuvées (pinot meunier, pinot noir and chardonnay). An approach halfway between houses and traditional winemakers. All cuvées are highly recommendable, especially as they are made with reserve wines up to 10 years old.
