Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Drémont Marroy is currently run by Jean-Rémi and Mélanie Drémont, the fourth generation of winemakers based in Charly-sur-Marne, but the first to produce their own champagnes. They took over the family estate in 2018 and launched their first cuvée in 2021. The 7.5-hectare vineyard, certified organic since 2022, is spread across 24 plots located in four villages in the Marne Valley, offering a diversity of soils. Winemaking is done on a parcel-by-parcel basis, using stainless steel tanks, oak barrels, or concrete eggs, depending on the profile of the grapes. The house specializes in non-dosé extra-brut champagnes that are precise, invigorating, and true to their terroir.
