Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The Rotier estate, located in Cadalen in the Gaillac region, is run by Alain Rotier and his brother-in-law Francis Marre: the former produces and markets the wines, while the latter manages the vineyard. With the help of five full-time employees and seasonal workers, they manage 35 hectares of vineyards that have been certified organic since 2012. Their goal is to preserve the soil and biodiversity. Planting on the gravelly soils of the Tarn, they cultivate local grape varieties such as Duras and Len de l’El, producing wines with a distinct character. Feel free to visit them.
