Domaine Pignier
39570 MONTAIGU

Gault&Millau's review
The 14-hectare Pignier estate was established on the slopes of Montaigu in the 13th century by Carthusian monks. In 1794, the Pignier family decided to acquire it. Since 2002, Jean-Étienne, Antoine and Marie-Florence, representing the 7th generation, have chosen to work their vineyard biodynamically. They produce Côtes-du-Jura, Crémant du Jura, Macvin, Vin Jaune and Vin de Paille. The wines are full-bodied, full-bodied and generous, making this an address not to be missed.
