Domaine Noir Frères
Passionate about the land and respectful of the terroir, brothers Philippe and Jean-Yves Noir cultivate 11 hectares of vines near Poligny, at the Domaine de la Petite Marne. The plots, planted by their father as early as 1973, have been carefully selected. Now undergoing organic conversion, the vineyard is home to the five emblematic Jura grape varieties: chardonnay and savagnin for the white wines, poulsard, pinot and trousseau for the reds. These grape varieties, grown on vines between 10 and 40 years old, are used to produce all the Côtes-du-Jura wines. Each year, the 350 hl of grapes vinified on site produce 40,000 bottles, a figure that is constantly rising.
