Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Located in Milhavet, on the northern edge of the Gaillac wine region, the Gayrard estate has been established for several centuries on this limestone terroir with shallow, stony soils. The production and sale of bottled wine began in the 1950s under Michel Gayrard. Since 2013, Pierre Fabre has been managing the family estate. He now cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards, planted primarily with indigenous grape varieties (Braucol, Duras, Mauzac, etc.), which he is committed to showcasing in a range of single-varietal wines. The estate is certified organic and practices biodynamic farming.
