Domaine des Tuileries
Bryan Marx returned to Champagne in 2018 to work with his father on the family estate in Venteuil. But in 2019, with his head full of ideas, he created his own brand, Domaine des Tuileries, and harvested his first crop. For the time being, he cultivates 1.5 ha of vines planted in equal parts with the three main grape varieties. The estate will be certified organic from the 2023 harvest. All his wines are vinified in barrel, including one cuvée (the aptly named "Acacia") in acacia barrels aged in cork stoppers to provide micro-oxygenation, and not dosed. The cuvée "Les Crayères" is a nod to his cellar, which is located in the middle of the vines, a chalk hole 10 m deep with constant hygrometry and temperature. Bryan's aim is to showcase his village of Venteuil, which he feels is too little known and offers some very fine terroirs for his Pinot Noirs.
