Gault&Millau's review
Originally, Domaine des Rutissons (named after the inhabitants of Saint-Vincent-de-Mercuze, where the estate is located) was a mixed crop-livestock farm. In 2010, Laurent Fondimare took it over and turned it exclusively to viticulture. Wilfrid Debroize joined him a year later as an intern, and they became partners in 2015. The estate comprises 7 hectares of vines planted in the foothills of the Chartreuse massif in Isère, in the Grésivaudan valley. Wilfrid and Laurent grow many local Alpine grape varieties, including Verdesse, Persian and Etraire de la Dui... The vineyard has been certified biodynamic since 2017, and they use a number of biodynamic methods.
