Gault&Millau's review
It was in the heart of the Alpilles foothills that Laurence and Benoît Bateman set up their vineyard in 2016 on family land, just a stone's throw from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Where landscapes inspired Vincent Van Gogh, Domaine de Métifiot produces wines in the three colors of the Baux-de-Provence appellation and IGP Alpilles. Nestled in a remarkable 20-hectare ecosystem, the vineyard is naturally certified AB, with a commitment to biodynamic viticulture by summer 2024. The owners extend a warm welcome to visitors.
