A little sullen at first, it's a marvel once opened (decanted). If you don't want to wait a handful of years, you have to like the firmness, uprightness and restrained power. In the end, it's a wine (50% Grenache, 50% Syrah) of deep character, with real chewiness and length on spices, resin and sap. Violet, prune, black cherry, thyme and garrigue make up the nose. Ideal with black pudding.

Isabelle and Arnaud Strasser acquired this single-hold vineyard in 2016. In 2020, it will be certified organic. This 20-hectare estate is located in the heart of the Luberon, in the commune of Ansouis. Set in sandy-loam and sandy-clay soils, it benefits from a Mediterranean climate.
