Pierre David founded Domaine David in 1927, a small 1.5-hectare estate. Today, his great-grandson Stéphane has joined forces with Sébastien Duvallet, and the two winemakers now manage just over 30 hectares of vines, 90% of which are in Muscadet. The estate received HVE (high environmental value) certification in 2014, and will be converting to organic farming in 2021.
