Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Émile Bodin, founder of the estate, was one of the first, along with his friend Jules Savon of Clos Sainte Magdeleine, to plant new vines after the phylloxera invasion. Renowned until then for its Muscat, the Cassis vineyards were reborn after this crisis thanks to the production of dry white wine, taking advantage of the richness of the terroir. Today, Nicolas Bontoux follows in the footsteps of his elders and farms the estate's 30 hectares organically.
