Gault&Millau's review
Forget-Brimont was founded at the beginning of the 19th century and is managed today by Frédéric Jorez, owning 19 hectares of vines mainly located on the Montagne de Reims: Grand Crus Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay, and Premiers Crus Chigny les Roses, Coulommes la Montagne, Ludes, Montbré, Sermiers, Taissy and Villers-Allerand. The wines are mainly made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, complemented by Pinot Meunier, grown under integrated viticulture and respect for the environment for many years. The cuvées are blended with at least 40% reserve wines and rest between 30 months and 10 years in the cellar before disgorgement.
