Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Based in Souel, Michel Montels founded the Château Montels estate, which would become Dames de Sarrasi in 2022 with the arrival of his daughter Marie. That same year, the estate received organic certification. Located on a limestone plateau at an elevation of 300 meters, the vineyards span four neighboring municipalities, offering a glimpse into three distinct terroirs through the native grape varieties of the Gaillac region. The estate offers guest accommodations and wine-tasting experiences.
