After accompanying his father as a winegrower, Michel took possession of a family plot of farmland in 2007. This was the beginning of Clos de l'Écotard. Michel creates a veritable ecosystem, from fruit trees to vines. The estate was certified organic in 2011, using biodynamic farming techniques. His son Thibaut took over the reins of the estate in 2024, supported by Guillaume. They now look after just over 15 hectares of vines in the Maine et Loire region, on several parcels of land that have been parcelled out to take advantage of different terroirs and plant a wide range of grape varieties.
