Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
In the 1950s, the Neuville-sur-Seine and Buxeuil cooperative winery was looking for a name for its champagne brand and drew inspiration from the Clarembaud dynasty, lords of Chappes (a town in the Aube department) and owners of vineyards. Neuville-sur-Seine is located at the southernmost tip of the Champagne appellation, and its vineyards enjoy ideal conditions for champagne production. The winery handles every step of the process, from the harvest to shipping, and produces its own red wine, which is essential for making rosés.
