An orchard in June. The sun is still moderating its heat, but insects are taking advantage of the relative coolness to gather the last cherry and orange blossoms. The air is fragrant as the harvest promises to be substantial. In the shade of the trees, the grass and its sweet notes bring freshness. On the palate, tension vies with sweetness, but the match balances out as effervescence brings creaminess to the material. Round but not mushy mouthfeel. A sapid finish with lovely bitters that add chewiness. Time to eat!

Cheurlin-Dangin

Cheurlin-Dangin is the result of the merger of two winegrowing families who have been active on the Côte des Bar for ten generations. Located in Celles-sur-Ource, it cultivates mainly pinot noir and completes its blends with chardonnay and pinot meunier. It is run by Thomas Cheurlin, a friendly, energetic character who is always willing to let visitors taste his wines.
