Since the arrival of the Antoine Moueix Propriétés team in 2016, supported by Derenoncourt Consultants, viticulture at Château Patache d’Aux has undergone a profound transformation through the adoption of agroecological principles. This evolution was recognized as early as 2016 with HVE3 certification for the 63 hectares of vineyards, guaranteeing wines free of CMR substances and pesticide residues. The estate now prioritizes biocontrol products and mechanical soil cultivation to reduce inputs and stimulate biological activity. Experiments in the vineyard and winery are paving the way for a sustainable future. In 2025, the château was awarded the “cru bourgeois supérieur” designation.
