It's simple, no fuss, simply good, very good indeed. A wine that flows naturally, that gives you a feeling of obviousness. It's lacy, elegant, neither too much this nor too much that, but a lot all at once. It plays several registers with delicacy and subtlety, alternating savory fruit, saltiness, crispness, honey and sweet spices.

Château du Seuil, dating from the 18th century, is located on the outskirts of the village of Cérons, around 35 kilometers from Bordeaux. Its vines grow on one of the region's oldest appellations, Graves. An appellation named after its soil, composed of thick layers of gravel deposited by the river. The château was acquired by the Watts family in 1988. Their daughter Nicola and her husband took over in 2001. The vineyard covers just under 15 hectares and is certified organic.
