Champagnes
Gault&Millau's review
Established in Épernay for more than a century, this house owns around 50 ha on all the great terroirs of Champagne. The range is built around classics and prestige cuvées, including old vintages. All cuvées are cellared for four to twelve years before release, and do not undergo malolactic fermentation to preserve their freshness. A guarantee of quality: the liqueur de tirage is made from cane sugar to which Champagne wine is added. The progress made over the last few years is undeniable, all the more so as the company has reduced all its dosage levels to bring out the best in the juices, which wait in the cellar for a long time before being blended.
