Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
In 1902, Henri Lebrun, son and grandson of winegrowers, founded the Paul Lebrun champagne house, named after his son, becoming one of the first récoltants-manipulants in Cramant, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Paul Lebrun's consolidation and investment marked the beginning of expansion, reinforced by his union with Marie-Louise. In the 1960s, the vineyard was restructured and extended to include the former sapinière of the Côte du Sézannais. In the 1970s, Jean Vignier, Paul's son-in-law, developed special relationships with customers and created a tasting room. Today, Nathalie and Jean, representatives of the sixth generation, continue to defend the house's identity, centered on Chardonnay, the emblematic grape variety of the Côte des Blancs, planted on 16 ha.
