Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
A few kilometers from Château-Thierry lies the village of Charly-sur-Marne, the Naudé family’s stronghold in the Aisne, a department that accounts for only 10% of the Champagne wine-growing region. It is in this village, on these terroirs, and in this clay-limestone soil that Magali and Geoffroy tend to their 5 hectares of vineyards, planted almost exclusively with Meunier. In fact, Meunier reigns supreme in the single-vineyard cuvée *L’Hommage*, vintage 2019. As for the rest of their deliberately limited lineup, Meunier shares the spotlight with a bit of Pinot Noir and, at times, a touch of Chardonnay—or both.
