The first aromas are dominated by vine peach - you can almost feel the velvety texture of the skin - then riper notes gradually reveal themselves: dried apricot, mirabelle plum, custard, brightened by blood orange zest and the sweetness of chalk. Creamy bubbles underline a creamy-textured body that picks up fruity notes (apple, clementine, banana). The finish, delicately peppery, is long and drawn out.
