Gault&Millau's review
The history of Maison Doré dates back to 1928, with a succession of winemakers in the family fold. In 2014, Gérard Doré called on his friend and vineyard neighbor, Jean-Guy Monmarthe, to take over the reins. Representing the sixth generation of winemakers at the head of Maison Monmarthe, Jean-Guy Monmarthe is committed to ensuring that the soul of Doré lives on in each of the cuvées produced on the estate's 4 hectares and 15 parcels. Production, blending and bottling all take place on the estate.
