In the heart of the eponymous district, on a narrow historic street, the inn exudes a beautiful perfume of authenticity, its traditional wood-panelled interior and its simple, engaging Alsatian cuisine. The menu focuses on the essentials and does its job perfectly, with munster salad, bibeleskæs, fleischnakas, braised knuckle of pork with horseradish, Alsatian sauerkraut and iced kougelhopf.
