Business is brisk at Michel Hermet's, and the restaurant continues to fill up with regulars who love their canaille dishes in this beautiful vaulted room with its warm atmosphere. Despite attractive suggestions on the slate and menus at contained prices, the menu is perhaps too extensive for everything to be of the day. As a result, you'll sometimes have the sensation of a badly reheated dish, as with the pike quenelles in Nantua sauce, but often and above all the pleasure of a plate straight from the halls, always in a bistro-style vein well anchored in its tradition - like the wine list, without novelties, but assuring quality on the classic references, not forgetting the owner's good white...
