Laurent Kehne, who took over from his father a few years ago, keeps a firm grip on the spatula to maintain the good reputation of this well-placed inn in Alsace Bossue. The cuisine, while respectful of tradition, has a good grasp of current trends in accommodating regional products: dandelions, perfect egg, croutons, smoked bacon, salmon gravlax with herb fromage blanc, veal kidney spaetzle with old-fashioned mustard sauce, black forest, chocolate cookie, kirsch and chocolate sorbet. A good menu that practically makes up the menu for €40.
