Gault&Millau's review2026
Right next door to the renowned café-théâtre "les 3T", this "Vivants" still lives up to its name, even if the team has changed since it opened. It's a place that celebrates life through ethically sourced products (including wines) in an atmosphere that oscillates between refined neo-bistro and warm table d'amis. The décor is raw, modern and comfortable, with an emphasis on natural materials (wood, leather, glass) and an open kitchen that gives a glimpse of the ballet of the young brigade. The plates, in a bistronomic vein well in tune with the times, always live up to the solid toque: tasty "smoked diver's scallops, bard marinière, creamy rutabaga, seaweed tartar", punchy "lamb shoulder confit, Brussels sprouts in hazelnut butter, leaves in vinaigrette, lamb jus", a little messier, the dessert "crème brûlée siphon, kiwi tartar, kiwi/matcha gel". Good deal: the €27 lunch menu (€24 for two courses) largely reproduces the evening menu.
