Chef's Restaurant Just 20 minutes from the city center, this 4-star hotel is a little haven of peace, like a Catalan mini-village with a pretty garden planted with trees, a bar with swimming pool and a fine gourmet table, led by Mickaël Meunier. The chef takes on the region in dishes full of terroir, where personality prevails over tradition. Local products are well showcased, as in the classic terre-mer of snacked scallops and pig's trotter in cromesquis, creamy coconut beard, roasted monkfish with stewed leeks, Collioure anchovies, Galician beef ham and watercress coulis, a very earthy filet of free-range goose in a Canigou pine crust, celery risotto with chestnuts and a light whisky mousse, an astonishing dessert with white chocolate mousse and squid ink, almond cookie, black sesame ice cream and white chocolate sesame sauce. Very fine Catalan cellar, with great names from Languedoc and VDF alike: Gauby, Clos des Fées, Grange des Pères, Mas Bécha, Peyre Rose, Maxime Magnon... And some good ideas from the rest of the country. Professional service.
