In the center of Gaillac, both the summer terrace and the indoor dining room welcome regulars for tapas and a bottle from the cellar. You can also sit down to an attractive lunch menu, or choose from the menu of the moment, available in several versions, also à la carte. On this day, a generous vitello tonnato, but lacking in seasoning, opens the meal. This was followed by a nicely cooked duck breast with melting beet. The coffee and coconut dessert concludes the experience on a slightly sweet note. A fine wine list, naturally highlighting the region without forgetting the rest of France, at a fair price and with friendly service.
