On Avenue Bosquet, you'd expect an elegant address, and Vesper ticks all the boxes. The contemporary Japanese izakaya spirit takes root here, with well-thought-out decor, meticulous service and a menu designed to be shared in the traditional way. Sushi bar, beef gyoza, yakitori as an appetizer and the rest follows: caramelized black cod with miso, vegetarian donburi and barbecued lamb chops. All this attracts a chic clientele, typical of the area, which contributes to the atmosphere of a popular place where people come more for the moment than for the plate.
