Discreet and a fixture in the neighborhood, Jessica and René Fieger’s restaurant has been in business for over fifteen years, offering Asian-inspired cuisine that remains as unique as ever. In the heart of this neighborhood, which is almost entirely dedicated to celebrating Alsatian heritage, the restaurant’s culinary direction offers a welcome contrast, allowing diners to escape to the other side of the world for the duration of a meal. The €95 set menu is as compelling as ever, featuring elegant wild yellowtail sashimi marinated in jalapeño, melon pickles, mushroom gyozas, tangy hoisin sauce with ponzu, a “return from fishing” dish and a mussel curry with coconut milk, marinated duck breast with Korean barbecue sauce, poached and stewed mirabelle plums, ginger cream, and matcha tea ice cream. Excellent food and wine pairings.
