In the Rouen landscape, there's plenty of room for generational renewal. The former Réverbère has become Tempo, with a young chef, Justin Berment, formerly of Cancan and Odas, who is not moving from his kitchen, but shows a certain potential to occupy the field. The codes of the gastro imaginary are followed - an imposed and costly hidden menu at €70, a slightly stuffy atmosphere - the house compensates for a certain lack of means with the obvious goodwill of the team. This translates into dishes that, although few in number and repeated over the course of the service, offer good sensations, in particular the sucrine au bbq and its softly smoked cream, the red mullet, a little confused in its variety of sauces and condiments, but well cooked and beautifully presented, or the beautiful fillet of venison with an olive condiment and caviar cabbage and fermented cabbage. One more point of encouragement, in the hope that this youth will be able, as it recommends to its customers, to relax and let go a little of the desire to appear in favor of naturalness and enthusiasm. A wine cellar, without sommelier or bias, but sufficient and well presented by the young room manager.
