If you've never been to Saverne, this monument is a must-see. As recognizable as Strasbourg Cathedral. The house itself, early 17th-century, with its sculpted facade and half-timbering, the interior, with its wood panelling and typical table setting. Finally, the cuisine, obviously regional, designed to seduce the many tourists, who could expect anything less. So, don't be fussy, but on the contrary, be sure to try the pot-au-feu salad or the onion tart, the snails, the lewerknepfle or the calf's head, without having to venture into the more occasional creations.
