Just off Castellane, this neighborhood canteen is one of the hottest new restaurants in Marseille, for its frank good humor, its team like friends for a meal, its decoration that seems effortless, but it's all in the detail, and its brasserie cuisine that promises nothing more than what it is: market produce and universal recipes. All in all, it's a very pleasant place and time, where you'll want to sit down every lunchtime for a cold starter of octopus, red cabbage and fregola, gnocchi with squash, pecorino, fried sage and hazelnuts, rump steak and French fries with a superb tarragon cream, a choco-peanut ganache with a drizzle of olive oil. A good selection of organic and natural wines. Warm atmosphere.
