Gault&Millau's review 2026

It's fair to say that Sylvain Renzetti's move to Bordeaux, between Son and Son of th son, his second address, has been going swimmingly for nearly eight years now, and this chef full of ideas and energy is once again wowing us. With a super lunch menu at €28, in a rather rock'n'roll interior full of vitality, and in the evening, with a Dégustation at €75: oysters with seaweed and pak choï clarified milk, squid mouclade with puffed celery, grondin in the spirit of a bouillabaisse, chuck with celery and sorrel plantin, each ingredient having its justification and entering into a beautiful harmony of flavors. We finish with the marron pralin poire and Chinese smoked tea "casse-noisette", with service always available and a cellar of the same spirit, open and tiered in tariffs.
