Gault&Millau's review 2025

The seaside resort has been experiencing a bit of a gastronomic boom recently. Louis Deslandes (in the kitchen) and Nachka (in the dining room) are happy to play their part. Located in a narrow central street close to the main beach, this address should quickly make a name for itself. The place is simple, not very big, but the young couple have already succeeded in creating a warm atmosphere. There's no set menu here, just a regularly changing selection of seasonal dishes. A velvety texture of white asparagus and brown mushrooms, complemented by fine brioche tuiles, is a welcome addition. The back of cod (a little overcooked) resting on a light celery mousseline is pleasantly boosted by notes of zaatar, coconut milk and green curry. A generous plate that also marries white asparagus, wild fennel and parsley oil. The dessert, in the form of chocolate mousse, oat flakes and roasted hazelnuts, is a delight. A small cellar that knows how to aim right, with, for example, a saint-nicolas-de-bourgueil "Les Quarterons" from domaine Amirault, a crozes-hermitage from Alain Graillot or a beaune 1er cru from Chantal Lescure...
