This Portuguese enclave near Les Halles continues to earn our full trust, as the cuisine here remains authentic and of high quality. The atmosphere is calm, in a style that stands in slight contrast to the bustling neighborhood, but the food speaks for itself and justifies its prestigious Michelin star: cockles in a delicious white sauce, cod fritters, Alentejo soup—this central, agricultural region is also known for its iconic pork with clams—not to mention the six different dishes featuring “bacalhau” and pasteis de Nata for dessert. There are Portuguese wines to discover from all the producing regions.
