Just a stone's throw from the Garibaldi metro station in the Guillotière district, chef Seisaku Miyamoto offers fair cuisine using seasonal produce. The menu changes frequently, including at lunchtime, when he served a salad of breaded fish peppers and lobster oil, followed by pollack rice with soy sauce and dried bonito, and a delicious prickly pear cream. No travel explosion, perhaps, but unbeatable prices in Lyon: €24 for lunch, €36 for dinner. Short wine list, attractive and well commented.
