Gault&Millau's review2025
For a century, four generations have succeeded one another here on the banks of the Rhône, to the delight of guests and regulars alike. Chef Frédéric Guironnet's valiant, classic cuisine is always sincere, even if it has been a little lacklustre of late. The products are well chosen and the atmosphere is that of a good provincial inn: the sweetbread is well cooked, but the crayfish is not very tasty, the cognac sauce is well present and well spiced, the octopus is enormous, as if it had come out of the broth whole, with a curry aioli, before a correct dessert of shortbread meringue and grapefruit sorbet. A beautiful and interesting wine list from the valley.
