Chef's Restaurant This is perhaps the city's finest business: a dream location at the foot of the towers, a chic setting, enticing dishes, a high bill without being arrogant, giving the effect of top-of-the-range gastronomy without playing too big a game. A perfect success for Grégory Coutanceau, who knows how to manage, delegate and deliver a highly professional service. His 72 € Découverte menu covers the whole range, but you can also choose from the extensive menu: Salers beef and oyster, a marriage that always works well, golden pollack on French pea skin, bigorre ventrèche with green apple juice, hazelnut cookie with vanilla cream and bergamot gel, praline and vanilla custard. Noble products (langoustines, foie gras, turbot...) are included in the higher price range of €119. A classic and complete cellar, with a good selection of Loire wines.
