Gault&Millau's review2026
Surprising and immersive! This intimate restaurant is nestled in the very heart of the Maison du Sake, where the sobriety of the furnishings is matched only by their elegance and comfort. A long, light-wood counter separates the dining room from the kitchen, with a glass roof, attractive furniture and pretty crockery... This is the world of Ryuichi Utsumi, who methodically and consistently offers a Franco-Japanese fusion, juggling the techniques, ingredients and flavours of each culture. The multi-faceted dishes come together as a matter of course. The scallop blossoms in contact with cauliflower, almond, sudachi and eucalyptus. Onion, shallot and grape combine their flavors for a pan-fried foie gras with discreet notes of ginger... and to conclude, chocolate invites itself in the form of gavotte and crumble, contrasting with Buddha's hand jam and tea chantilly. The service is also distinguished and friendly. If the wine list is appealing, it would be a shame to miss out on the food and sake pairing.
