Gault&Millau's review 2025

On the plateau of one of France's most beautiful villages, this address offers (especially in summer) the pleasure of a terrace under the trees, which under its airs, nonetheless provide the opportunity for a moment of beautiful height, both bucolic and regional. The 3* hotel is a little old-fashioned, but the chef plays his part with a great deal of authenticity, working on traditions with a fine savoir-faire. The menu-card offers a pleasant panorama of the terroirs: the small omelette with porcini mushrooms and warm goat's cheese puff pastry, the cod with shellfish jus and vegetable tian, pea risotto, the Quercy saussicot with truffle and homemade purée, or the walnut-glazed entremets. Suitable cellar.
