L'Autobus is a family affair, and now it's nephew Thomas Issautier's turn to take over from his uncle Olivier Traverso, who decided to go into the bakery business next door. New blood since 2023, but without changing the lines that have made the place famous for ages: traditional Niçoise cuisine, panisses, stuffing, peppers in oil, beef cheek daube, ravioli... all perfectly executed. But for those eager to take a trip to the hills of Gairaut and feast on a roast camembert or a kilo of beef tomahawk, the place is now a blend of the cantine niçoise and the bistro of today. A successful transition. Smiling service and an interesting cellar.
