Gault&Millau's review 2026

It's a beautiful green stroll in a chic, bucolic setting: for decades, this Relais has been a magnet for the people of Saint-Sauveur, whether on a weekend getaway or for an elegant outing. Stéphane Gautier's cuisine has been refined towards more local produce and seasonal dishes. We can only congratulate him on this, and his €57 menu is very attractive: white asparagus, rocket, tarragon, ribot milk, smoked pike roe, farm pig, fennel, semi-salted sardines, seaweed and verjuice, strawberry gariguette and matcha tea for dessert. Another suggestion at €41, a very broad cellar with a fine range of Bordeaux wines and some prestigious ones, such as the Yquem vertical.
