On the main thoroughfare of this rural commune, the long stone house with its many brick-edged openings is part of the landscape. Having suffered from instability over the last few years, it now seems to be undergoing a renaissance. This is thanks to Steven Carré and his wife Nadège. Whether you like the decor or not, the room is comfortable, bright and meticulously maintained. It's Nadège's domain, and she greets and serves with kindness, gentleness and reserve. The cuisine is sincere and the technique undeniable. No extravagance, just the right dishes, like the creamy parmesan cream with the perfect egg, asparagus and local andouille sausage. Or the cod steak with ravigote. A springtime dessert with strawberries, basil, lemon and meringue. The passion for wine is not obvious, but the menu will do just fine!
