A few months ago, Edouard, his wife Drucilla, and their friend Logan—a young culinary prodigy—brought this unique restaurant to life. All three share the same vision of fine dining and hospitality, as well as a common desire to return to high-quality ingredients, the “foundation” of any sophisticated culinary expression. As the seasons change, and with the utmost respect for them, they offer homemade cuisine made from carefully selected fresh, local ingredients, prepared with passion and precision. Exclusively French meats, line-caught Mediterranean fish, a menu fully adapted for gluten-free dining, and a venue designed with a constant focus on sustainability: take a seat and savor flavors and pairings that, like Proust’s madeleines, transport us back to childhood—to authenticity and a love of the land—while opening us up to new culinary experiences. The menu is easy to navigate, and you’ll feel right at home, surrounded by an attentive staff. The “Racine” menu for lunch with bistronomic touches (€36), the semi-gourmet “Andromaque” menu in the evening featuring a five-course tasting (€80), and Sunday brunch in the form of a single menu to share… Every plate tells a story. You can’t miss the wonderfully simple, reimagined dishes, including leeks with vinaigrette, the vegetarian bourguignon, or the dry-aged rib of beef. Note: A remarkable children’s menu featuring risotto-style coquillettes with country ham or the catch of the day, lightly confit vegetables, and olive oil. Open Sundays for brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Follow the restaurant on Instagram: @restaurant.racine.cabries
