Gourmet Restaurant The site is superb, and the vast rectangular room that opens onto the nearby vineyards immediately sets the scene, placing the vineyard at the center of attention, as does the immense glass cellar housing several hundred references. Created by the Prieuré-Roch estate, this restaurant plays the card of flexibility, offering both a menu-card and a choice of tapas to suit all budgets. A lovely crispy pig's trotter to start with, with a mustard (from Dijon) and mascarpone sauce that lacks a little character, an herb and creamed spinach caillette with clean, straightforward flavors before a fairly successful dessert based around strawberry, crème brulée and buckwheat. An extensive wine list, with the estate's own wines of course, but also a very wide selection covering the whole of France and including foreign production.
