In the heart of Paris's 9ᵉ arrondissement, Antonio Bianchi and his sister Luana reign as maestro over Italian gastronomy with their three addresses that breathe home cooking: Piccola Toscana, Amore Amaro and Culinaria. A gourmet holy trinity, and a success Antonio owes above all to his savoir-faire and uncompromising taste for authenticity. Here, everything is homemade, according to recipes inherited from the mamma. We start at Piccola Toscana (lunch and dinner), where the faithful come to savor traditional cuisine: anthology stews, grilled pork cheek simmered in tomato sauce, polpette di mamma Pina. At Amore Amaro (evenings only), the hip crowd gathers around a signature cocktail and tasty dishes. Special mention goes to rigatonis with pistachio cream, stracciatella and guanciale. Finally, Culinaria (lunch and dinner) celebrates crisp, thin-crust pizza, with Fuoco (San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella fior di latte, spicy salami and chili pepper) as a guest star. A true ode to the richness and generosity of Italian gastronomy, in a raw, cosy setting where authenticity meets refinement.
