It's already a mythical place, a superb 1885 house clinging to the rocks, where you can admire one of the finest views of Marseille, the Frioul islands and the Château d'If. The terrace is almost enough to warrant a mention, but the kitchens aren't resting on their laurels, offering a good level of cuisine and convincing Mediterranean pleasures. There's bouillabaisse, of course, but there's more: grouper gravelax, pine nut cream, capers, taggiasche, olive oil and lemon; monkfish, lemon confit, pistachios, roasted early cauliflower with smoked beet miso and bone jus; swordfish à la flamme, colored carrots with seaweed butter, parsnip textures and bard jus; a tartelette and 80% chocolate soufflé, Madagascar vanilla ice cream.
